Oblong format. Red pictorial boards. Decorated endpapers. Large illustrations and bold type. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Small dent to cover edges. Bottom of boards a little rubbed. "Fishponds Training College Bristol" stamp to title-page and rear pastedown. Some light foxing to contents, a couple of hinges slightly pulled. Wrapper is edge worn and slightly grubby.
