Green cloth with gilt titles to spine and blind title to front. Front endpaper is a chart of the atlantic ocean. B/w text illustrations throughout. 431 pages. 8 x 5.5". Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Endpapers slightly browned. Pale page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is price-cut and browned, a little worn to spine and corners.

Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Searching for the lost plate of a ruined Norfolk monastery is the main theme of this story. Peach boards with black title to spine and small avocet vignette to front cover. 221 pages. B/w illustrations. Endpapers are maps of Crome's Broad. Some slightly bumped. Some very slightly browning to lower cover edges. Small patch of white paper transfer to base of spine (from dustwrapper). Contents are foxed and browned. Dustwrapper is edge worn, foxed on verso with damp stains to edges and tape repairs on verso.
