B/w illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Bottom edge of rear cover slightly marked. Presentation plate to front endpaper. Pages browned with foxing, mostly to edges. A couple of marks to prelims and endpapers. Dustwrapper is edge worn, with a few small tears, creases and chips. Crease to rear panel, a few fox spots on verso.

Dustwrappers are edge worn with slight loss to top and tail of spine of "Knights", tears to "Arabian Nights" but generally bright and clean. Contained in a slipcase (custom made?) which is slightly worn.

A little scuffing to pictorial onlay. Covers grubby. Front and rear joints cracked. Inscription in ink to front pastedown and name and address in ink to front endpaper and to half title page. Some of the colour from the boards has leached onto top of first and last couple of pages. Foxing throughout and some fingering. Letter 'O' on page 44 has been coloured in black crayon. Corner torn off the bottom of one page. A few small margin tears.
