A delightful story with the Sussex Downs as background, in which the Grays move from the Midlands to open a cafe in a little town near to the sea. Orange boards, black title to spine. 159 pages. B/w illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Bottom edge of rear cover slightly marked. Presentation plate to front endpaper. Pages browned with foxing, mostly to edges. A couple of marks to prelims and endpapers. Dustwrapper is edge worn, with a few small tears, creases and chips. Crease to rear panel, a few fox spots on verso.

Red cloth with black titles. B/w photos. Uneven fading/darkening to covers. Wear to top and tail f spine, with a little fraying to cloth. Foxing to outer page edges and pages throughout.

Four volumes: Tales From the Arabian Nights; The Knights of the Round Table; Tales of Ancient Greece; Tales of Robin Hood. Each edited by Enid Blyton. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Those in "Knights" illustrated by Robinson. Each volume has red covers with black titles. Slight bumping to spine and a little rubbing to cover edges. Colouring to the b/w illustrations. Dustwrappers are edge worn with slight loss to top and tail of spine of "Knights", tears to "Arabian Nights" but generally bright and clean. Contained in a slipcase (custom made?) which is slightly worn.

Tower House Series. 128 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Board edges browned. Crease to bottom of first few pages. A little foxing to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with some tears, Patch of surface paper damage to front panel. Wrapper is grubby.
The third book about the endearing Mr. Twiddle. Red boards, black titles. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, a couple of tiny indentations to cover edges. Name in ink to front pastedown. Covers and contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge creased and torn at spine and corners with neat tape repairs on verso, some light scuffing to wrapper.
A Lone Pine Story. Red cloth, black titles. Full-page b/w illustrations plus b/w maps to the endpapers. 200 pages. Small splash mark to front cover. Spine faded at top and tail. Wrapper is torn and creased with some loss, approx. 1/2" to top and tail of spine and similar across top of rear panel, plus some loss at corners.

Topics 64 to 84 and Special Subjects. Prepared under the supervision of Blyton. Red cloth, gilt title to spine. 1309 pages. A little bumping to spine and corners. Spine is faded and gilt dulled. Various marks to covers. Endpapers browned. Contents very good.
