Large format. Pictorial boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Board corners lightly rubbed, boards browned. 2" tear to gutter edge of free front endpaper and 2" split to top of rear joint. Binding is tight in spite of this. Foxing to contents. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily rubbed at edges, is torn and repaired to verso with clear tape, edge-worn, a bit grubby.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. 2 of the plates have small tape repairs to the margins and 1 plate has a small mark. Foxing to textblock. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Dustwrapper is well worn and grubby, section across rear panel has been torn off and replaced with magic tape, another small piece has been torn and creased. Tape repairs on verso of wrapper.
