Red cloth spine, yellow decorative paper boards. 8 hand-coloured plates. Spine lightly browned, corners of boards lightly bumped, slight mark to spine edge of front board. Hinges pulled but binding tight. Slight discolouration to spine edge of text block. Contained in publisher's slipcase which is heavily worn with browning and splitting and slight loss of surface paper.

Light damp stain to top 2" of rear cover. Endpapers browned. New front free-endpaper. Foxing and some grubby fingering, showing mainly on unprinted sides of pages. Small ink mark to one page (unprinted).
