Heavy wear to corners, with some chipping; bumping. Scuff and other marks to covers, with uneven browning to rear cover. Foxing to outer page edges and paler throughout internal pages. Grubby marks to pages, but illustrations are still nice and bright.

Blue Nigerian Goatskin spine with gilt title, purple vendome cloth sides. Gilt endpapers. Originally published in 1859. 69 pages. A fine copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is a little grubby and scuffed to one side. Slight binding imperfection where the boards are not sitting central - one board is sticking out further than the other.
