From the tiny community founded in the fens by St. Etheldreda in 672, and refounded as an abbey in 970, grew one of the greatest monasteries in England. ISBN: 9780851159454. Spine bumped. A couple of small spots to textblock and a couple of lower page corner tips slightly creased else contents fine. Dustwrapper is slightly creased at edges.

The Thirteenth Secret Seven story in which quarrels threaten to disband the Secret Seven. But dog-thieves are at work in the village so the children turn detective. Pale blue boards decorated with SS symbol. Two-tone and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped with slight browning to top and tail of spine. Textblock is foxed at top edge. Dustwrapper is edge worn with pencil (heavy) tick marks to title list on rear panel and patch of surface paper damage to front panel.
