Oblong format, white pictorial paper boards. Colour illustrations, one line of text to a page. ISBN: 0192797077. Heavy bump to top corners affects all pages too. Some wear to spine and corners. Covers a tiny bit grubby. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with a few small chips. Also slightly grubby and browned. Top corner crease to both flaps. Book has been used as a rest for writing, visible on dustwrapper at certain angles.

Beige cloth, purple title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped. Front joint beginning to crack. Pages are lightly browned. Light foxing mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is in two halves with the split being at the rear of the spine. The front flap is partially detached and the rear flap has tears along the join. The rear panel is grubby and torn piece of white paper to verso to strengthen it. Loss to top of spine and and front panel.

Cream cloth with black border lines and green swan design to front cover, black title to spine. Colour frontis. 288 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cloth at the top of the spine is beginning to split. Board edges lightly rubbed. Spine browned and covers grubby. Both joints are cracked. Endpapers are browned. Foxing throughout which is especially heavy to prelims and last few pages.

Rear panel grubby, crayon line to rear flap.
