Covers are detached from contents, with heavy browning from glue/tape residue. Large split to base of spine; some chipping. Covers are creased to corners, with foxing. Child's writing in belongs to box in ink. NOT Price-cut. Page corner creasing. Orange scribble (e.g. on pages 15, 17, 19, 57 and more). Staining/browning to bottom of outer page edges/margins. A reading copy.

Harrison printing with red endpapers. Pictorial card wraps showing Rupert flying in air on a bicycle with wings. Castle overlooking sea in background. Spine has been repaired with yellow cloth. 4.5" loss to bottom of original paper spine; quarter inch paper loss to top. Creasing to cover corners; some foxing and a few marks. What appear to be sticky glue marks to inside front cover and opposite on belongs to page. Name in ink in belongs to box. NOT price-cut. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Some page corner creases. Illustrations are still lovely and bright!!!

Creasing to covers, with chipping and a bit of loss along bottom edge of front cover. Creasing to page corners throughout. A few margin marks, but illustrations are still bright.

Covers lightly rubbed at corners. Rear joint is split so the rear cover is detached from spine. NOT price-cut or inscribed. Contents are clean. Slight musty odour present. If not for the rear joint and base of spine, this would be an almost fine copy.
