12 very pretty colour plates plus b/w decorations. Blue cloth, gilt titles and decoration to front cover. Pictorial endpapers. 125 pages. 8.5 x 6.25". A New Edition. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. A few small 'bubbles' in the cloth to front cover. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Endpapers browned. Light foxing to contents, mainly at textblock. Front joint is cracked at lower 3". A nice copy of an early reprint.

Text block lightly browned with minor foxing to top edge. Browning to half-title page else contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby and has a couple of minor closed tears to edges.

Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Lower corner of browned frontis tissue-guard has been torn off. Endpapers are lightly browned. Some light foxing and some grubby fingermarks to page margins but generally contents clean.
