A 'King of the Commandos' Adventure. A desperate treasure hunt in siamese jungle, which began harmlessly enough as a fishing holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. Gimlet and 'Cub' Peters lead an expedition to vindicate a dead man's faith. Green cloth, colour frontis. 8 b/w illustrations. Light bumping to top of spine (minor). A few minor foxspots mainly to text block. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed and worn with a few small chips and tears.

B/w text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped. Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper has clear adhesive film stuck to it causing the colour to 'bleed' a little. Spine is faded. End of silk ribbon is foxed and slightly frayed.
