Dustwrapper is grubby with light stains. Loss to wrapper edges and to lower half of spine, extensive tape repairs on verso of wrapper.

Pale green cloth, dark green titles and vignette to front cover. 102 pages. 10.75 x 8". Damp stain across bottom edge of front cover. Corners and spine are bumped, with wear. Other marks, especially brown spotting and splash marks to rear cover. Foxing to prelims, outer page edges and page margins. All plates present.

Spine a little bumped. Foxing to prelims and text block. Contents very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears and chips. Also a bit grubby, especially spine. 1" tear to top edge of front panel.

A Fairy Story. Blue cloth, dark blue title to spine and front cover, with decoration to front cover. 8 Colour plates and 8 b/w plates, other b/w illustrations throughout text. A beautiful book. Some browning to covers, with a few marks. Couple of corners bumped, with very tiny amount of chipping and fraying to cloth on a couple. Light foxing/browning to endpapers, outer page edges and a few to contents. A few plates have grubby margin marks, with one plate having a little edge-chipping and a closed edge tear (though it doesn't affect picture). Still a lovely copy of this book. Reduced from £400.
