Pale foxing to endpapers. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with slight loss, rear panjel and spine are a little grubby.

Gimlet and 'Cub' Peters lead an expedition to vindicate a dead man's faith. Green cloth, colour frontis. 8 b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Front free-endpaper has been removed. Pale page browning and foxing else contents clean.

School library stamp to title-page (neat), no other library markings. Wrapper is slightly worn at edges with printed price of 60p to front flap.

Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby, damp staining to lower edge of front panel (with some slight loss as well).
