Stories and verses. Large format. Green cloth spine, front board shows a girl with dolls and a puppy under an umbrella, sheltering from the rain. First story is "Peter's Adventure Under The Sea" by Rutley. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Small, light damp stain to edge of rear cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Some light foxing and fingering, old price in biro to front pastedown.

Blue pictorial cloth with gilt titles. Colour plates. B/w illustrations. 364 pages. Pictorial endpapers. Front joint cracked wide but binding is holding tight. Front endpaper detached but present, worn at edges. Small inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Two illustrations loose but present. Two tiny patches of susrface paper loss to one colour plate ('And Shot his own Sow') and also King Cole Calls For His Fiddlers. Margins of plates a little grubby. One b/w illustration is partially messily coloured in (pg 73) with yellow pencil, also couple of lines to margins of pg 90, 183-185, 193, 207, 308. Large margin tear to one page plus a few small page edge tears. Foxing thoughout, some heavy. Top and tail of spine and corners bumped and worn. Rear board stained.
