Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper (dated 1918). Endpapers browned. Foxing and fingering to contents.

A Tasseltip Tale. Ladybird Series 474. Pictorial paper boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges worn. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper has section removed from base of front flap (price-cut), is edge worn with small tears and creases, rear panel is a bit grubby, there is tape reinforcement to verso of wrapper spine.

Rear cover is grubby with some ink marks. Front joint is broken but webbing is still holding the binding together. Some hinges pulled and some foxing. Contained in original posting box which is in good condition.

First story is "Little Miss Robinson Crusoe" by Corbett. Includes some b/w cat illustrations by Wain. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine faded and silver rubbed. A few marks to covers and two scratches to onlay. Joints cracked, rear joint showing webbing. Label, with name on, stuck to front endpaper covering writing, label partially removed below. Edge of front endpaper creased with small tears. Contents generally clean, all plates present.
