Set to music by Glass. Large format. Cloth spine, orange boards. 23 pages. B/w text illustrations. Foxing and browning to endpapers and prelims. Light crease to lower corner of front endpaper. Dustwrapper is grubby and torn at edges with slight loss.

The four children take with them a small cat to steer the boat, an elderly Quangle-Wangle to cook the dinner and a large kettle! Delightful nonsense. Light brown glazed pictorial boards, black illustrations at bottom of both covers. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Contents fine. Dustwrapper is just a little worn at top edges with a couple of closed tears.
