Cream cloth covers with dark titles and deer vignettes. Two-tone frontis plus 4 b/w plates, 2 fold out maps and small b/w repeated illustrations. 125 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped. Browning to spine and board edges. Small bump to bottom of front and rear board. Tissue guard to frontis is creased. Both maps have small tears where they are stuck into the book. The first map is creased at the edges. One plate is detached. Foxing to some pages and the top margin of some plates otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chipped and creased. Remains of a label to rear flap. Small patch of surface paper damage to front flap. Some foxing and marks to panels. Wrapper is grubby.

This book has been expertly rebacked with original spine laid down. Plates are all present - but plate 4 is missing its tissue-guard. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; a few scuff marks. Bookplate to front pastedown. Ink stamp to half-title page. A few light margin marks and browning; a little foxing.
