Small, oblong format. Red cloth spine, green pictorial boards. Colour and b/w illustrations. 47 pages. Covers are edge rubbed. Spine slightly bumped. Prize plate to front pastedown and some ink writing. Joints were broken and have been repaired with masking tape. First page (frontis) is badly creased and torn with slight loss at lower edges (and a tape repair). Some light foxing to contents. Contents are well fingered with light marks at margins.

One day a mischievous leprechaun leads a band of followers in an attempt to break up the railway... Humour and excitement is captured with ingenious detail in BB's superb b/w illustrations and colour frontis. Blue pictorial boards. 127 pages. Spine slightly bumped with browning/foxing, small brown spot to front cover and some slight discolouration to rear cover. Foxing to textblock and endpapers. A few small marks at page margins.
