Red boards, black titles and vignette. B/w illustrations. 120 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Cover edges slightly darkened and some fading to top and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is from a later edition (price on front flap is 6/- and "Saucy Kate" is listed on back flap). Old tape marks to edges of wrapper flaps. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and slightly faded to spine.

Dustwrapper is torn in half down centre of spine and title at top of spine is also detached (but still present). There is some slight loss to top and tail of spine and to lower edge of rear panel. Spine and rear panel are a little grubby.
