18-year-old Margery Paine goes to Rainbows, a model village built by a young heiress, to open its first sweet shop. Blue cloth, black title to spine. B/w frontis. 258 pages. Spine slightly bumped with some slight fading to base. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Light browning to endpapers and light foxing to textblock. Contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge chipped at spine.

Spine and corners bumped, some slight browning to top and tail of spine. Minor dents to front cover edge. Light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is well worn, torn and creased. Substantial loss to front panel (top half of front panel mostly missing).
