Robert Mylne was a famous eighteenth century architect. The diaries show by their day to day entries the way in which a busy eighteenth century architect worked, and, in the case of Mylne, the many long journeys he contstantly undertook and his meticulous care in carrying out his commissions, large or small. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 220 pages. Board corners lightly rubbed/worn. Foxing mainly to text block and prelims, some foxing to contents. Dustwrapper is grubby, edge-rubbed, worn at corners with slight loss, browned to spine, some foxing.

Text block browned. 'S.' in pen to front pastedown. Front joint publled between front endpaper and half-title page but binding tight. Half-title page browned and has a contemporary ink name & date to top ege.
