Oblong format, red cloth spine. Pictorial boards showing Japhet jumping through a paper hoop held by Santa Claus. Splits to top and tail of spine; a little fraying to cloth. A few marks and scuffs. Some marks and partially label to inside front cover. Browning and foxing to outer page edges.

Oblong format. Front cover shows sledging down a hill, with dog, squirrel and tortoise looking on. Stiff card covers. Cartoon-strip-style pages with colour illustrations. Small splits to top and tail of spine. Bumping and wear along cover edges; some scuffing to cover. Inscriptions in ink and ink stamps to inside front cover, with partial old price label. Some browning to outer page edges. Contents are still generally very good - illustrations are nice and bright.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners; spine has browned/faded. Other marks and some scuffs to covers. Inscription in ink to belongs to page. Foxing to outer page edges. A few margin marks. Couple of puzzles done in pencil.
