Light musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' price sticker above and is just a little grubby.

Pretty pale blue pictorial boards. 232pp. 8.5 x 6.5". An unusual novelty book. Spine appears to have been repaired - still has a couple of splits to top and tail. Scuffing and wear to covers; a few grubby marks. All characters that stand up are still present in their correct places. A few page margin marks. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. Couple of page corners have chips of loss. A cute book - in good condition for it's age - with all pieces present!

Final page has loss from being previously stuck to pastedown. Last colour plate partially detached. Contents generally clean.

Spine and corners a little bumped. Browning to endpapers. Pencil erased from top of verso of front endpaper. Colour plates all present but not in right order. They may have been reinserted into book. One plate has ragged edges and is a little detached from the book and has a couple of shiny marks (?glue).Pictorial dustwrapper is edgeworn and torn with a little loss. Front panel is creased. Wrapper is grubby.

Wrapper has a few closed tears, with chips; minimal loss (mostly chips of loss to corners); grubby with some foxing and creasing.
