An exiting adventure involving a remote and lonely bungalow and a cruel sea. Dark red cloth, black titles to spine. Blue pictorial endpapers, b/w illustrations. 214 pages. Bumping to spine and corners. Boards damp stained and a little bowed. Some pink staining to bottom of front pastedown where colour has seeped through from cloth. Name and date to front endpaper. Rear endpapers browned. A little foxing mainly to page edges. Pages are wrinkled. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and small area of loss to top and bottom of spine. Spine and top of rear panel browned. Rear panel is grubby.

Name, address and date in ink to front endpaper. Small bookseller's label to rear endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and text block, especially top edge of text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss from top of spine and folds, small tear to base of front panel and a grubby rear panel. A little wear to spine, light foxing/browning on verso.
