Almost very good condition.
Magnificent b/w plate for each animal along with a paragraph of text on each. Large format. Green boards and spine, front shows a pair of shire(?) horses. Spine rebacked with green cloth keeping most of the original title-strip. Corners worn and some slight scuffing to covers. Endpapers professionally replaced. Some light fingering else contents clean.

Small format (6.5 x 5.75"). Red cloth spine, red pictorial boards. Two letters of the alphabet illustrated in colour with a small rhyme opposite featuring words beginning with that letter. A scarce ABC book. Spine slightly bumped, corners worn and edges rubbed. Some slight scuffing to covers. Staples are rusty with small marks to endpapers. The tissue-guards are lightly browned with a couple of them being slightly edge chipped. One page detached.
