Blue leather spine with 4 raised bands and gilt title. Blue marbled paper boards. B/w plates & illustrations. xii and 360 pages.
Ex-library (Guille-Alles Library, Guernsey) with large, yellow library label to front board and ink stamps to margins, remains of library plate to front pastedown. Edges are rubbed, corners worn. Vertical board edges are worn, board exposed. Foxing and grubby marks to contents. Some hinges pulled but binding is tight. A good working copy.
