A series of Converstaions on the Natural History of Lower Canada. Modern rebind. Three-quarters red leather with 5 raised bands to spine and gilt title to spine. New endpapers (red). 44 b/w wood engravings in the text. xii and 372 pages including index plus 4 page publisher advert to rear. Text block browned but recently planed smooth. Large previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. A few age-related grubby marks to contents but overall a lovely copy considering its age.
