Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Large, heavy format. Black boards with gilt title to spine. B/w and colour photos and illustrations. From the tiny community founded in the fens by St. Etheldreda in 672, and refounded as an abbey in 970, grew one of the greatest monasteries in England.

Spine bumped. A couple of small spots to textblock and a couple of lower page corner tips slightly creased else contents fine. Dustwrapper is slightly creased at edges.
