All lovers of the English country-side and its village folk will be fascinated by this volume of stories by a masterly writer whose previous books have met with such a favourable reception. Limited Edition, numbered and signed by the author. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w plates. Top edge green. 178 pages. Spine discoloured to top and tail. A few minor white marks to boards. A small area of surface paper loss to lower corner of front pastedown which is hidden by the front flap of the dustwrapper. A few minor marks and light foxing to prelims. This is copy 458 SIGNED by the author. Price-ut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with loss at corners, grubby, small patch of surface paper loss to top of front panel.
