All of them reflect Dr Masefield's lifelong delight in nature, the English countryside an its characters, in history, in the sea and the ships that sail upon it, he is able to bring his memories of earlier days to bear upon an event of rare interest to younger readers. Neat name in ink to front endpaper. Foxspot to vertical edge of prelims. Else contents clean. Dustwrapper is browned to spine and very slightly edge-worn with a few tiny closed tears.
