Almost very good condition. A & C Black Colour Book 20 Shilling Series. Cerulean blue cloth with attractive sailing ship, crab and sun vignettes. Gilt titles to spine and front cover. 74 tissue-guarded colour plates. Top edge gilt. Index and booklist to rear that lists books later than 1905.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine and edges are browned; a few nicks to cloth to top and tail of spine. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Joints are a bit cracked. Frontis is MISSING! Tape marks to tissue-guard of plate opposite page 104. Some light foxing and browning. Assumed reprint from books listed in booklist to rear.
