The spirit of the book is admirably captured by Rackham's pastoral scenes. 12 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations. Green cloth, gilt titles and decorations. Green pictorial endpapers. 224 pages.

Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Foxing to textblock. Price-cut dustwrapper is grubby and edge worn with slight loss, tiny hole to centre of rear panel.
