Red cloth with gilt title to spine. 32 colour illustrations. Map at rear. South Manchester School gilt embossed stamp to front cover. Spine is browned with some chipping to cloth. Marks to covers; possibly damp marks. Some browning and foxing to pages. Plate opposite page 28 slightly edge-worn. Slight damp stains to margins of plates.
