Cream cloth spine, pictorial boards. Colour and b/w text illustrations throughout. Most illustrations by W.J. Morgan, many illustrations not attributed. First story is "A Long Ago Piano" by Mrs. Molesworth. Covers are edge worn and grubby, spine is browned. Some hinges pulled, joints cracked, this causes contents to be little loose but still tightly bound. There is a small hole to the centre of page 63/4 and a couple of large tears.

Cream pictorial cloth. Colour and b/w text illustrations throughout. Most illustrations by W.J. Morgan, many illustrations not attributed. First story is "Ducks, not Geese" by Mrs. Molesworth. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers slightly grubby and spine slightly browned. Name in ink to title-page. Endpapers are browned and there is some light fingering to page margins but the contents are generally clean. There are some small margin tears at lower edges.

Yellow/orange cloth boards with pictorial onlay depicting galleons. a man overboard and boy with shark. This volume is page 561 (Vol 6 No. 1 July 1926) to page 856. Stories, puzzles, articles on stamp collecting. Boards are grubby and marked, corners worn, base of spine has split in cloth and some wear to top of spine. Front and rear joint cracked and feeling fragile but holding at time of writing. Inscription in ink to top of front pastedown. Text block browned, margins browned and grubby. Two coloring competitions completed. Page 561-604 cust shorter than the rest of the contents. Contents foxed/browned. A good working copy, front joint is liable to split.

Leather spine with gilt titles. Yellow cloth boards with repeating pattern. B/w wood engravings. 733 pages including index. Top edge yellow. Tiny fox-spots to text block, not affecting contents. Last few pages have been miscut by binder so top corner of page is folded in a crease. Else a lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is scuffed and marked.

Dustwrapper is edge worn, faded to spine and has a few felt-tip pen marks to front panel.
