THE ENCHANTED WOOD

by Enid Blyton

Illustrated by Dorothy M. Wheeler

Published by George Newnes Ltd.. 1st. 1939

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Green cloth. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. The First in the Faraway Tree Series.

Spine and corners slightly bumped. Tiny indentation to lower edge of front cover. Very faint vertical crease to spine. Tiny bookseller's sticker to lower edge of rear pastedown. A couple of hinges are very slightly cracked but binding is still very tight. Foxing to text block. Free endpapers are very lightly browned. Original pictorial dustwrapper (white spine with blue title and red price of 3'6) is edge worn, torn and creased but only very minimal loss. A very nice copy indeed of an exceptionally scarce book to find. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
