Almost very good condition. The story, written in diary form, of the life of a vicar and his wife who have left London for the peaceful surroundings of a country vicarage at Bramlingham. Blue cloth, gilt title and decoration to spine and blue title/border to front cover. Pictorial endpapers. 4 Colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 286 pages plus book list.
Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Spine faded (gilt dulled)and browned. A few light marks to covers. Browning to endpapers and page edges and some foxing to first few pages. Hinges pulled but binding tight.
