Yellow/brown cloth with black titles and gilt vignette to front. B/w illustrations. xvi and 397 pages plus 1 page advertisement for books by the author to rear. Spine heavily browned, boards grubby. Knock to horizontal and vertical edges of rear board. Rear board marked. Text block browned. Name and price in pencil to front endpaper, 2 contemporary names in ink to verso of frontispiece. A little pencil annotation else contents clean.
