Front cover shows girl in mop cap and pink/green gown with 2 boys in medieval clothes, one dressed as a jester. Red cloth spine with black titles. Pretty colour plates plus numerous b/w and two-tone illustrations. First story is "Rosalie, the Dark-Haired Princess". Spine bumped and a little faded with 29 written in blue biro. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear board a little creased. Covers grubby. Front joint starting to crack. Inscription in ink to front endpaper along with old tape mark. Name in belongs to box. Front endpaper browned. A little foxing to page edges. Crosswords completed in pencil otherwise contents clean.

Stories and pictures for little folk. Cloth spine, yellow pictorial front board showing golly and other toy friends in a plane. 207 pages. Colour plates plus b/w and two-tone text illustrations. First story is "Christmas Snowflakes" by Cowham. Covers are edge worn and spine is bumped. Light foxing, mainly to endpapers are page edges and some very light fingering to page margins. Some hinges are pulled causing contents to be a little loose bit still firmly attached. Generally a nice copy.

Edited by Vredenburg. 6 colour plates, incl. 2 by Wain. B/w and two-tone illustrations. 128 pages. Heavy crease to corner of rear cover. Chipping and wear to other covers. Couple of splits to spine, with some fraying to cloth. Binding is a bit weak - some pages have partially come away at hinge. Name in ink to front endpaper with tape mark. All plates are present - but frontis has chipping along edge, with some loss and at least one other plate has margin tear. Pages 31/32 and one plate are Detached. A reading copy.

Pencil writing to frontis, pencil underlining of text on one page and erased pencil words on a few pages and rear endpapers. Some fingering and a few marks to contents.

Ink inscription to front endpaper and name to top edge. Tear alongside spine to top edge of page 87. Endpapers browned, foxing to text block. Light browning to about 6 pages, possibly something has been pressed between them, contents generally clean otherwise.
