Grey cloth, gilt title to spine, green titles to front cover. 34 plates in colour and b/w. 208 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine browned. Front joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Endpapers browned. Contents very good, just an odd mark and fox spot. All plates present.

A Magazine for the Young, New and enlarged series. Black spine with gilt titles and bands, marbled boards with black corners. Colour frontis and one other colour plate, b/w illustrations throughout. Serial Stories are Bunty and the Boys and The Children of the Clan. Spine worn and rubbed. Corners bumped and worn. Wear to cover edges. Covers grubby and worn with small patch of damage to marble paper on front and back cover. Both joints cracked. 1.25" tear to bottom of frontis repaired on verso with clear tape. Front endpaper stuck to front pastedown. Rear endpaper MISSING. Faint lines drawn to verso of full-page b/w Wain illustration. Contents generally clean but with some browning and foxing.

Rear board is marked and scratched. Name and date to front endpaper and name in ink to verso. Pages browned. Contents clean.

Browning to pages opposite plates. Contents otherwise generally clean.
Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows 3 boys pushing/pulling a girl on a sleigh. First story is "The Race". Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 112 pages. Spine slightly bumped and stained. Covers slightly edge worn and scuffed. Front joint is cracked at lower half causing free-endpaper and frontis to be part detached. Front joint between frontis and title-page is cracked showing webbing, lower half is broken. Hinges cracked and pulled causing contents to be loose. A decent copy overall.
