Large oblong format. Green cloth spine. Green front board with white banner to left edge. A delightful selection of colour plates throughout contents. Binding weak with 3 plates and rear endpaper detached. Believed to be complete. Detached plates are also have some loss to margins and generally browned. Front endpaper creased. Front joint almost broken. Spine has some splitting and fraying to top and tail. Board edges worn.

Large format. Orange cloth, white title block to spine. 4 colour plates plus b/w illustrations throughout. 173 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cloth slightly grubby, title to spine just starting to rub away. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Neat colouring to a few of the b/w illustrations. On page has a large margin tear and another has a small piece of loss to lower margin.

Limited edition of 250 copies. White vellum spine, burgundy cloth, gilt titles. Large format. B/w and two tone illustrations. Top edge gilt. Verses to do with fox-hunting which have appeared in Punch previously . SIGNED by author and illustrator. This is copy no. 96. Vellum spine is grubby. Some foxing and marks to endpapers and outer page edges. Contents are very nice!

Some episodes in a Mis-spent Youth. Green pictorial boards with typical Aldin full page illustrations. Covers are edge worn, scuffed with 8 d tape marks across the spine/covers (see photos). Spine covering is chipped with loss. 8 old tape marks across the joints of the books which have browned and affect the prelims and last few pages. There is also sticky fabric reinforcing the joints. Staples are rusty. Joint between frontis and title-page is cracked. Contents are foxed, grubby and lightly browned. Not as bad as it sounds! Still a decent copy.
