Red cloth spine, cream pictorial boards. Illustrations include: 2 b/w full-page by Anderson; endpapers by Robinson; 6 b/w illustrations by Wain, one of which is full-page (cats!). Spine bumped and faded. Corners and cover edges worn. Indentation to front cover (on boy's calf). Covers worn and a little grubby. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. A few illustrations have been neatly coloured in including one of the full page Anne Anderson illustrations. Couple of hinges cracked. Very edges of frontis and some plates lightly marked. Some foxing and a few grubby margin marks.

Covers are grubby and unevenly browned. Bookplate to front pastedown. Foxing and some page browning, especially to outer page edges.

First story is "The Kid in Fancy Dress" by Chaundler. 6 colour plates (including one possible cat one by Wain entitled "Having a good time" although there is no signature). B/w illustrations throughout. Unpaginated. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly worn. Covers are a little grubby and there is a patch of surface paper damage to spine edge of rear cover. Contents are foxed and browned but otherwise clean.

Wilfred's 5th annual. 4 colour plates. Packed with illustrations. Yellow pictorial front cover. Cloth spine. 208 pages. 9.5 x 7.5". Spine bumped, corners worn. Inscription in ink to front endpaper and some pencil writing to pastedown. Some light foxing to prelims. Rear joint is partly cracked. Contained in scarce original wrapper (which is a little bit too short for the book!). Wrapper is slightly edge worn and a bit grubby on rear panel.

A book of poems. Off-white cloth with pink title and pictorial onlay to front. 12 beautiful colour plates. Spine and corners bumped. Covers marked and a little grubby. Inscription in ink x2 to front endpaper, old greetings card(?) stuck to verso of endpaper. Colouring in water colours to last few b/w text surrounds with some small paint spots to illustrations opposite. Some text pages are lightly soiled. One colour plate has a 1.25" closed tear at top. A good copy. Identified as a first edition by lack of publisher name/place on title-page, later reprints featured this.

Name in ink in belongs to box and ink message to bottom corner of rear pastedown. A few small margin tears. All plates present, a couple have light creases.
