Contains numerous steel engraved plates. 3 plates have been professionally hand-coloured. Wear to cover edges; a little bumping to corners. A few scuff marks to covers and top of spine. Foxing and browning to some pages.

Dinham, Llanfair Discoed, Llanvaches, Penhow, Langston, Llanmartin, Llandevaud, Wilcrick, St. Brides Netherwent, Llandevenny, Magor, Redwick. Llanwern, Bishton, Undy, Rogiet, Llanfihangel Rogiet, Goldcliff, Whitson, Nash, Christchurch. Large marks to front and rear cover - look like possibly oil or water marks. Some browning to cover edges. chipping to corners. Foxing to spine. Foxing to outer page edges and some pages internally.

Large format. Gilt and black titles and decorations. 20 tipped-in paper guarded chromolithograph plates. Some wear to cloth mainly to corners, with a little fraying. Front and rear joints cracked. All plates present but with some foxing. 1 plates has paper-guard missing. Another plate appears to have been re-inserted, but in the wrong place. The paper guards have a fair amount of damage with some pieces missing.

Large format. Green cloth with gilt titles and decorations. Colour title page. A collection of 34 ferns, pressed into the book, with tissue-guards and a full page description for each fern type. Side of spine is split with some fraying. All samples are present, but a few loose (at least 3). Some tissue-guards are creased. An unusual item.

Folding county map has 5 inch closed tear. The plain board covers are lightly browned. Joints starting to wear.
