Name in ink to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers. Wrapper is scuffed and edge creased with some tears and slight loss, old tape to verso.

List of subscribers to rear implies a limited edition of 100 copies. Subscribers' copy No. 49. Front and rear hinge pulled but binding otherwise sound. A few margin marks and foxspots. All plates present. Boards a little marked but very nice for its age.

Contemporary inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A few marks to contents but generally a lovely copy.
