A capital story and jig-saw puzzle solution in one book. Red cloth. Pictorial front board. Jigsaw pieces contained in envelope at back of book. Slight rubbing to cover edges, spine slightly bumped. Rear cover is just a little grubby. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. Small white typing fluid mark to top of fornt endpaper. Unfortunately 1 piece of the jigsaw (top left corner) is missing.

This most peculiar mystery was made up by four children to entertain Uncle Bob. Cream boards, red title to spine. B/w and two-tone illustrations. Corners lightly bumped. Wrapper torn with slight loss, and ink marks to front flap.
