Some very faint marking to covers. Light foxing throughout. Lower corner of half-title and frontis creased, tiny nick to edge of half-title page. All other plates fine condition.

Hutton wrote numerous books on salmon fishing and of particular relevance here given the book title are Wye Salmon and Other Fish; Rod-Fishing for Salmon on the Wye. Slight rubbing to spine. Overall a handsome copy.

Two volumes in one. 4 folding b/w maps. 3 single page b/w maps. 30 b/w plates and one folding b/w plate. Text in French. Covers slightly rubbed at edges, spine slightly sunned. New marbled endpapers. Most pages have light brown stain on lower half of page (looks like ancient dampstain). Last sentence on page 272 has been adversely affected with a couple of words illegible. Otherwise the text is bright and readable. One map is browned at corner. Majority of plates not marked. A handsome copy.
