Everything changes with a cat like Kaspar around as Johnny found out when he discovered Kaspar in a basket at the Savoy hotel. With explanatory leaflet giving a brief biography of Beatrix Potter and the history of the publication of The Tale of The Pie and the Patty-Pan. Contained in a grey hinged box with silver title and circular onlay to front. Also includes a grey leather foil-blocked bookmark. ISBN: 0723256861. This is copy no. 59. There are a couple of light scuff/scratch marks to top of presentation box else fine. Presentation box is further protected by a white card slip band. Contained in original brown packaging box (with limitation details label to front) and 'cotton' (referring to binding) written in blue biro to front, small dent to one edge of the box. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
