A story of adventure in Colorado for boys. The Foulsham Henty Library. Dark blue boards, gilt title to spine. 223 pages. Slightly abridged. ISBN: 0572009658. Light damp mottling to verso of dustwrapper and covers. Pictorial wrapper is price-cut. Overall, a nice copy.
Blue cloth, black title to spine. 251 pages. The First in the Steeley Series, a young adventurer of the skies. REDUCED FROM Â£800. Two inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Contained in 2nd impression wrapper (only difference from 1st is rear panel book titles). Wrapper has 2cm loss to base of spine and 3 to 7mm loss from top of spine, loss has been diguised by photocopy loosely laid underneath. Front flap has had price-cut - 2cm diameter hole. Rare to find any copy in a dustwrapper.
Red boards, gilt title to spine. Blue/white endpapers are maps. B/w illustrations. A second story about the King family. Damp mark to base of rear cover, which is also to corresponding parts of wrapper. Contents are excellent. Pictorial wrapper is price-cut, with damp marking and a couple of pencil words to front panel.
Green pictorial cloth, gilt titles to spine and front board. 12 b/w plates. 384 pages + 32 page booklist. All edges green. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers lightly rubbed. Tiny nick to front edge of spine. Small address sticker and ink stamp to front pastedown. Front joint cracked. Rear endpapers replaced. Light foxing throughout.
Large format. B/w photos. Wrapper edge-chipped and a little grubby.

Pictorial wrapper is edge-torn and chipped in places, with a few small pieces of loss to corners and bottom of rear panel; wrapper is also grubby.

A few hinges are pulled. Pictorial wrapper is heavily taped with yellowing and fragil tape to edges. 1" piece of loss to base of spine. A few other edge-chips/tears to edges of wrapper.
