Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows a clock in the background with a boy and a girl infront - the boy is reading to the little girl, who is cuddling a doll of colour. First story is 'The Lollipop Shop'. Two-tone illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, covers edge rubbed. Light creases to covers. Name in ink in belongs to box. Some foxing and fingering to page margins.

Two volumes. Quarter bound with black leather, gilt titles and raised bands on spines and marbled boards. 292 & 295 pages. A collection of short stories. Slight wear to cover edges. Rear joint or volume 1 and front joint of volume 2 cracked. Each volume is inscribed in ink to 7 year old Mary Senior Clark who grew up to be an author notably of "Lost Legends of the Nursery Songs" published in 1870. Some foxing to contents but generally clean.

Gilt titles. 381 pages. 9 x 5.75". ISBN: 0340037091. Spotting to covers, which have bowing to front cover. Corners are bumped. Name in ink to front endpaper. Contents are still very good. Ardizzone illustrate wrapper is edge-torn and chipped and creased, but with minimal loss, some uneven fading to rear panel.
This anthology deals with published travel accounts from ancient time to the early twentieth-century, selected by H.K. Kaul, Librarian at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w plates. ISBN: 019560654X.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Corner/margin loss to one page (2"x1"), text unaffected. Grubby fingermarks and foxing to contents. Endpapers lightly browned.

A collection of ten enchanting tales of varying lengths for five to nine year-olds. Green boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 130 pages. ISBN: 0460062379. SIGNED by the author with dedication and a drawing to title page. Child's name & room number in black pen to front pastedown. Heavy foxing to text block and edge of prelims. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed with a closed tear repaired to verso with clear tape so that it is barely visible to rear panel.
Stories by Natalie Joan, delightfully illustrated with 8 colour plates and b/w drawings in the text. Beige cloth spine with black title, pictorial front board showing mother putting child to bed. 77 pages. 10" x 7.25". Spine and corners slightly bumped and worn. Front joint has been repaired with white paper tape. Contents are pulled causing them to be a little loose. Some light foxing and other marks but generally contents clean.
Large format. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board. 2 colour plates by Lucie Attwell, B/w text illustrations by various artists. First story is "The Sick Doll's Diary". 9.75" x 7". Spine and corners worn, lower 1" of spine was split and has been glued down. Edges rubbed. Joints cracked. Foxing and grubby fingermarks to contents.

An anthology of stories and verse, first story is "Betty". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges worn with some small indentations. Damp stain to lower edge of rear cover and spine edge browned. Small brown stain to edge of front cover and "Miss Ruck" and "5" written in red biro to top of front cover. Name and address in ink to front pastedown, name and date in ink to free-endpaper. Endpapers browned. Some light foxing and grubby fingermarks to contents (including a few plate margins but pictures unaffected).
Decorated cardwraps. Two-tone text illustrations throughout. 128 pages. 13 short stories, the first being "The Peppermint Party". Inscription in ink inside front cover. Foxing else contents clean.
