Father Tuck's Golden Gift series. Red cloth spine, pictorial boards with front showing dog and puppy. Colour frontis plate, b/w and two-tone illustrations to text. First verse is "Good Manners and Bad". Quite a few cat illustrations by Wain. Spine slightly bumped. Corners worn and cover edges rubbed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper (ink thumb print to top edge of same page). Page browning and some small marks to margins else clean.
A collection of stories edited by W.E. Johns, including 4 stories by him. Pictorial boards. 4 b/w plates, 6 colour plates plus other b/w illustrations. 248 pages. Covers are worn, with some chipping and loss of paper; cloth showing through. Some foxing and browning to pages.

Blue cloth spine, pictorial boards. First story is "The Fairies and the Frying Pan". 6 plates, b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped and worn, there is a tiny hole to front edge of spine. Contents are browned and foxed but otherwise clean.

First story is "The Kid in Fancy Dress" by Chaundler. 6 colour plates (including one possible cat one by Wain entitled "Having a good time" although there is no signature). B/w illustrations throughout. Unpaginated. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly worn. Covers are a little grubby and there is a patch of surface paper damage to spine edge of rear cover. Contents are foxed and browned but otherwise clean.
Green cloth spine, green pictorial front board showing man aiming gun at a grizzly bear. First story is "A Close Shave". 4 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. 144 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers are slightly grubby with light damp stains at edges of rear cover. Messy writing/crayon marks to front endpapers. There is a crease to the top corner of the half title-page. Foxing and fingering but contents are generally clean. A couple of hinges are cracked.

Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed and grubby, a tiny closed tear to top edge of front panel.

Wrapper is torn with some chipping.
