Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers foxed and browned. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Front joint is broken with stitching still holding but contents obviously a bit loose. Plates detached.

Small ink(?) stamp of a rabbit (blue and pink) to front endpaper. Name and date in ink to verso of frontis has been partially erased. Heavy foxing else contents clean.

Pictorial onlay to front is damp-marked, has surface damage and has been clumsily repaired with sticky tape. Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. A few hinges are cracked. Belongs to box completed. Some foxing throughout. Blue mark across one page and a few edge-tears to pages. A few marks otherwise contents generally clean.
